Andrea is a first-generation college student, born and raised in the Philippines. She is majoring in Biochemistry, in hopes of working in the field of small molecule medicinal synthesis in the future. She lives in the beautiful island of O’ahu in Hawai’i, and loves to go around the island and have bonfire smores at the beach in the moonlight. When in the city, she loves exploring the neighborhood cuisines and art museums. She’s involved in the Chandler Chemical Society, Columbia Multicultural Recruitment Committee and Columbia Brainiacs!
