The Marginalization in Medicine Conference is a free, all-day event that aims to address social determinants of health, facilitate engaging discussions on inequalities in the healthcare and medical education systems in the United States, and provide a safe space for our community to reflect on the marginalization experienced by people of color. The conference is organized in cooperation with Columbia University’s Center for Science and Society and the Charles Drew Premedical Society.
