Join a conversation with Carlo Rovelli on his book, The Order of Time. A physicist by training, Rovelli walks through theories that consider and challenge popular conceptions of time: in his attempt to unify the theories of relativity and loop quantum gravity, Rovelli’s writing highlights his role as a rhetorician as much as it does his role as a physicist. His talk will also serve as an introduction for a new undergraduate seminar course on the Rhetoric of Science developed by the RCSS scholars Ellie and Kimia with help from Dr. Dolling.
