Chinmayi is a Columbia College junior studying Medical Humanities. Through the RCSS, she is working to understand how Ayurvedic medical concepts (originating in the Indian subcontinent) have been passed down through cultural traditions among the South Asian-American diaspora. She is also involved with Columbia Synapse, Columbia Science Review, and Columbia Religious Life. In her free time, she enjoys practicing taekwondo, writing poetry, gardening, and watching old Telugu movies.
