Karolina Sadowska

Karolina Sadowska is a senior in Columbia College, studying neuroscience and public health. As an RCSS intern, Karolina will be working together with Kaylon Cannon to organize the second edition of the Marginalization in Medicine conference and she will be also conducting her own exploratory project entitled “Private Etiological Beliefs and Causal Attributions Related to Mental Illness”.

Karolina is currently working as a Research Assistant at the Global Mental Health Programs and wants to pursue a career at the intersection of clinical psychiatry and public health. Determined to destigmatize mental health and create support communities on campus, she is a part of the Active Minds, the Mental Health Task Force, and the Columbia-JED Initiative. Karolina is involved in the Seniors for Columbia Fund and the Polish Student Society, and she is serving as a Peer Advisor in the Department of Psychology as well as a Peer Academic Skills Consultant at the Berick Center for Student Advising.
