New Alumni

Marsha Darbouze is a senior in Columbia College majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior. She is from Haiti and the Bronx, NY. Marsha is passionate about addressing disparities in college preparation and STEM education. As an RCSS scholar, Marsha is working on creating a course to help first-generation, low-income premed first-year students acclimate to Columbia and thrive in their pursuit of careers in medicine. She hopes to create long-lasting mentoring relationships for first-year students and provide opportunities for early career exposure. Outside of RCSS, she is involved in the Questbridge Scholars Network, the Undergraduate Multicultural Recruitment Committee, and Camp Kesem at Columbia. In her free time, Marsha enjoys arts and crafts, baking, and playing violin.
