Priscilla is a Columbia College alumna with a degree in biological sciences. Through RCSS and the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (CDM), she worked to decrease health inequity by partaking in community events revolving around oral health education and preventative care. These initiatives mainly targeted children in low-income neighborhoods in Upper Manhattan. She has extended her involvement to raise awareness for dental advocacy and public health issues for Columbia’s American Student Dental Association (ASDA). As an advocacy fellow, she creates infographics and presentations on issues such as the opioid epidemic and LOAN Act. After graduation, she hopes to continue her RCSS project with Columbia CDM.
