Sungtae Yoon

Sungtae Yoon is a graduate of the School of General Studies majoring in Biological Sciences. As the executive officer of the Terence Cardinal Cooke At Your Service volunteer program, he is serving as a liaison between Terence Cardinal Cooke (TCC) Department of  Volunteer Services and its Medical Department, and the Columbia RCSS AYS program. As an intern at RCSS, he is involved in developing an international exchange program for  Columbia undergraduates and students from Griffith University in Australia, with the goal of facilitating a global perspective of end-of-life care.  He is also contributing to a research project at TCC that is studying how recreational therapy affects Huntington's Disease patients' self-perception of health. Alongside his work with TCC and RCSS, he is also active as a volunteer Korean language medical interpreter for Mount Sinai Hospitals.  He graduated as valedictorian.
