Tony Qian

Previous Alumni

Tony Qian (CC’17) is a Physics Major and Math-Computer-Science joint double major. Tony has worked on Electric Propulsion at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Nuclear Fusion at Tri Alpha Energy. Tony has also researched Biophysics in Forschungszentrum Juelich as part of Germany’s DAAD Scholars program, and studied Math in Moscow with NSF funding. Tony is now pursuing a PhD in Physics at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory.

 

Beyond Physics, Tony has also worked as an Archivist for the Center of CORE Curriculum, tracing the history of Science in the CORE through pre-war syllabi. Tony was reciepient of the Harriman Foundation fellowship for Russian language study. His hobbies include Music, Fencing, and Astronomy.
